Assistant Chef

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Chef to support our kitchen team in preparing nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents. The role involves assisting with food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and helping ensure all meals meet residents’ dietary and nutritional requirements. You will work closely with the Head Chef to provide a positive dining experience while following all health, safety, and care home regulations. Compassion, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential in helping us deliver quality care through excellent food service.

Are you looking to make a positive difference in your spare time? We have a variety of volunteer positions available at Silverways Nursing Home. From spending time socialising with the residents, to helping out with our activities programme or even taking some of the residents on a short walk to the local amenities.
