We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide ongoing care and supervision to residents during both the daytime and overnight hours. Responsibilities include completing assessments, administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ conditions, responding to changes in health status or emergencies, documenting care, and ensuring resident safety and comfort, including communicating important updates to families and the wider healthcare team. ​We are currently recruiting a Senior Night Carer to provide care and support to residents during overnight shifts, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, completing night checks, responding to call bells, maintaining accurate records, and supervising night staff. The role requires leadership skills, compassion, and the ability to handle situations calmly while promoting dignity and person-centred care.​

Are you looking to make a positive difference in your spare time? We have a variety of volunteer positions available at Silverways Nursing Home. From spending time socialising with the residents, to helping out with our activities programme or even taking some of the residents on a short walk to the local amenities.
